Tariffs-related announcement :
Hello, dear customers and readers.
As you may have heard if you follow the news, the US government recently raised its customs import tax rates.
The infamous Tariffs!
Customs tariffs for my US customers

From now on, with these new tariffs, you will have to pay 15% of the total amount of all your orders placed in Europe (and 145% of those placed in China).
For this reason, I have decided to suspend all sales to the United States from my ETSY shop.
Please know that I am truly sorry about this situation, but I prefer to abstain for the time being.
Since this is a decision made by the US government, I obviously have no leeway or influence over the situation.
At present, the only solution would be for me to agree to pay this amount in advance for you, through a postal service that offers this type of option.
However, this type of service provider is, of course, much more expensive than the regular postal service…
As a result, this would force me to increase my prices considerably.
In short, you would pay even more for my illustrations (much, much more) without this covering my expenses.
And in conclusion, I would be working at a loss…
Alternatives to tariffs for my US customers
However, there is still a solution if you live in the US and are looking to purchase my illustrations:
These are still available on the REDBUBBLE print-on-demand platform :
http://lucydreams.redbubble.com/
On this platform, the items decorated with my illustrations are manufactured as close to you as possible, for example, in the USA.
This means that your parcel does not cross any borders and you do not have to pay any customs fees.
However, on this platform, you will not find any original illustrations or linocuts by me. Likewise, I do not prepare the orders or manage the shipments.
But it’s better than nothing…
The impact of Tariffs on my work
In any case, with these new tariffs, we are all losers, and I hope that your government will quickly realise that it is harming American citizens more than it is ‘making America great again’.
Personally, I am all the more saddened and disillusioned because my work is more appreciated across the Atlantic or in Australia than in France.
Why?
I have no idea…
However, this is a big problem for me, and I wonder how I can earn a living with economic decisions like this.
In any case, I will continue to create and, of course, I will continue to share my work.
If only to allow Europeans who are unaware of my existence to discover my work.
On this page, you will find all the links to follow me on social media and on the Internet in general :
See you soon for more illustrated dreams.![]()
Until then, take good care of yourself in this sick, sad world.
